“Are you going to Grove?” is the welcome question GLF founder Jana Jae hears musician friends ask one another all over the country. “These festivals put Grove on the map with people planning each year to come to our beautiful area for a reunion of sorts with festival-goers and music lovers. We feel a mission to carry on because of all the positive response over the years. I love hearing folks talk about the festivals when I’m on the road–we have a great reputation out there! We need community help and support this year especially. We couldn’t do this without the wonderful people of Grove, the sponsors and the great folks who volunteer to make this happen!”

Executive Director Kathleen Pixley and Festival co-chairs Brad and Shirley Adams met with committee members to plan for 2015 and are happy to announce JUNE 11, 12, 13 for the American Heritage Music Festival with three stages of entertainment, JULY 4 for the popular Cajun Festival, and SEPT 4. 5. 6 for the Jana Jae Fiddle Camp and Music Fest.

The American Heritage Music Festival is always the first full week in June, and this year will include more focus on entertainers, a western swing dance is being considered, and great talent showcased with the Fiddle Fest and Clogging Contests. Great entertainment is being planned for the entire weekend, Thursday through Saturday, June 11, 12 and 13.

The Cajun Festival is a happening with fun for all on the Fourth of July! Chris Miller and Bayou Roots pack the house with authentic Cajun/Zydeco music just right for dancing or listening, and our sought-after Cajun chef is with us again for the best Cajun food for all to enjoy! The Arts, Crafts, Music and Cajun Festival is the place to be with Cajun Music, Cajun Food and Cajun Fun all day July 4. There will also great opportunities to shop at the wonderful arts and crafts booths.

Labor Day Weekend is set for the Jana Jae Fiddle Camp, September 4, 5, & 6 featuring renowned musicians performing and teaching workshops, demonstrations and master classes. Students of all ages and levels of playing are invited to register for this exciting weekend of learning and playing with professional musicians, contest winners, and outstanding instructors.
